Winnie

Winnie is estimated to be between 10 and 12 years old.  She is a little standoffish and timid we believe from a harsh handler in her past.

Winnie is being re-started under saddle as she needs a fresh start.  She has been in rehab for the past year to gain weight and recover from pneumonia when we rescued her.

Shorty

Shorty (Shortstop Seven) just turned 27.  He is shy around his face and head but loves butt scratches!

Shorty is a smaller dude and his white “eyebrows” make him look wise to match his age.  He is a great blind lead horse and would make a good companion.

Sil

Sil (Silhouettes K) just turned 15.  He is a quiet, friendly guy that will follow you around.

Sil sustained an injury at some point to his left rear leg that has caused some calcification over his joint.  He does have limited range of motion but otherwise sound. He would be a good light trail rider or companion horse.

Sweetie

Sweetie is a 6 year old BLM registered Mustang.

Sweetie was previously halter broke and has the kindest eyes.  She tends to be low in the herd so would do well by herself or with another quiet mannered horse.  She is a true chestnut or sorrel with no markings.

Sweetie was dangerously thin when she arrived and with winter approaching we were worried.  She was able to gain some weight over the winter and is now getting to full weight.  She needs about 100 pounds yet, which we are working on.

Clover

Clover is a 5 year old BLM registered Mustang.

Clover is just a little girl.  Would make the perfect horse for a younger child or a jumper.  She is quiet and timid but looks for her people and will warm up quickly.

West

West is a young BLM registered mustang gelding.

West is halter broke and green under saddle.  He is ready for the next steps in his riding career and can go any way that you want!

Mazy

Mazy is a 4 year old in your pocket BLM registered mustang.

Mazy loves treats and will follow you around the pasture waiting for some neck scratches.  She enjoys lipping your hair and generally just touching you.  She is halter broke and ready for her career under saddle to start!

Mazy has been introduced to a manual dental float and did fine.  We will be working on picking up her feet next.

Amber

Amber is a 6 year old BLM registered mustang mare.

Amber is a true buckskin with natural wavy hair.  She is BEAUTIFUL!  And her sassy attitude matches!  She is alpha in pecking order and runs the herd.  Her best friend is West.  Amber is getting friendlier the longer she is here but we are still not able to touch her.  When she first arrived we couldn’t get within a few feet of her, now she is comfortable with us entering the pasture and doesn’t pay much attention.  With consistent work this girl will be an amazing partner!

Peanut

  Peanut is a 3 year old BLM registered Mustang.

Peanut’s story is sad, as when she came to us in November of 2021 she was only 2 and was pregnant, unknown to us.  In May 2022 she gave birth to a still born foal and was heartbroken for weeks yelling for her baby.  She has recovered and is the sweetest little girl.  Peanut is ready for a loving forever home to start a journey with her.
